This foot is especially beneficial to those just learning how to do free hand embroidery.
This foot greatly improves visibility of stitches compared to the Janome Darning Foot Closed Toe, and this Open Toe version is especially popular with quilters.
Which Janome Darning Foot Open Toe is Right for my Janome Machine?
First you need to check your machine’s stitch width category – group A, B, C or D.

Note that this foot is not available for Group A – 5mm Stitch Width machines.
